Description
The world's first specialty-grade decaf coffee liqueur. In collaboration with Decaf Co. 99.9% caffeine-free. 16% ABV.
GRADA 02 Midnight Decaf is the same hot extraction, the same liqueur quality and the same single-ingredient espresso martini as our 01. Without compromise. The only difference is the bean.
The single-ingredient espresso martini
Most espresso martinis take three things: an espresso shot, a vodka pour and a coffee liqueur. GRADA 02 Midnight Decaf collapses all three into one bottle. Decaffeinated. Shake 100ml over ice for 5 seconds, strain into a chilled coupe. That is the cocktail.
Collaboration with Decaf Co
Decaf Co (Bonacci Coffee) are Australia's specialty decaf people. They roast nothing else. We worked with their team for over six months to land on a single bean that holds up against an espresso martini with no apology — their Mexico Organic, on a custom roast profile, Swiss Water decaffeinated.
No chemicals. No solvents. 99.9% caffeine-free. The beans hit our extraction at 93°C and we pull a hot-brewed liqueur with the body and sweetness you expect from specialty coffee, minus the part that keeps you awake at 1am.
This is for the people who got pushed out of espresso martinis by sleep, anxiety, pregnancy or medication. Or anyone who wants seven of these and a full night's sleep.

Specifications

How do you make an espresso martini with GRADA?
Add 100ml GRADA to a shaker.
Shake hard with ice.
Fine strain into a chilled coupe.
That’s it.
No vodka.
No fresh espresso.
No added sugar.
Do I need to add vodka?
No.
GRADA already contains alcohol. It is bottled at 16% ABV, intentionally calibrated to produce a bar-quality espresso martini.
When shaken with ice, it dilutes to approximately 12% ABV, which is standard bar strength.
You do not need higher ABV vodka to correct it. The balance is already built in.
Do I need to add fresh espresso?
No.
GRADA is perfectly balanced on its own. No additional coffee or sugar is required.
Can I drink GRADA neat?
Yes.
Serve over ice in a short glass with a cube. Think espresso martini flavour, without the shake - convenient and sessionable.
Is GRADA cold brew?
No.
GRADA is hot extracted using a full immersion method, allowing us to use less sugar while maintaining depth and structure.
Is GRADA caffeinated?
Yes.
It contains natural caffeine at roughly the level of a standard long black.
Why doesn’t GRADA taste as sweet as other coffee liqueurs?
Because it is not designed to be syrup.
It is built coffee first, with balanced ABV and sugar so it performs on its own.
Where is the coffee sourced from?
Specialty grade coffee from Minas Gerais, Brazil, specifically Fazenda Pinhal.
Shelf life and storage?
Unopened bottles are shelf stable for over 12 months.
Once opened, best consumed within 12 months. Refrigeration is recommended but not required.
On the rocks, or shaken over ice for an espresso martini, either way superb and a party favourite at our house. Going to buy more, yum yum yum!!
Paul
A great drink for coffee liqueur lovers. The nicest I’ve had.
Matthew
Truly the best espresso martini I've ever had. Shaken at home with nothing but ice. Single origin, hot brewed and pure.
